So as I expand my Menoth force I've been watching some battle reports and I keep seeing Intercessor Kreoss appear on the board. Should I consider picking one up? whats the details on this Kreoss.

He's versatile, mobile, relatively tough for a Protectorate caster and he has late game closing potential.

It's hard to give you his exact "Deal" because you can take so many approaches towards him. You can try for a relatively standard protectorate style-builds with the usual support base, a couple Reckoners and tarpit - it works. You can take more than the usual complement of 'Jacks and some ranged elements to try and get extra use out of warpath, it works. You can take a strong infantry base and an Arc Node to leverage his offensive spells, - it works. You can run the theme list and try run down people with Vengers - it works.

He's probably most comparable to pSevvy in that he can make almost anything work for him. He gains some survivability and mobility in trade for the 8th focus point and somewhat lower impact on the broad numbers game of your army.

Yep, he's supremely flexible, has a lot of army support but also has a fair amount of personal presence - good defensive stats and damage output that's up their with our best beat-stick casters make him a complete package. His high natural ARM also means he can tank against various assassination factions/casters, which is why he's often teamed up with the more fragile Harbinger or Sevvy.

He's definitely a good buy if you like the look of him.

The cav and fire of salvation are both solid choices with him too. With him being on a 50mm base he really doesn't want to be allocating too much focus so the jacks that run them selves ie the fire and the avatar are well worth a look
