This is my first list attempt using the new codex. It is for tournament use (or at least the final list will be), and also has the ability of being turned into a farsight anclave when the skyray is released (exchanging it for 1 hammerhead). HQ: Shas'el: (1 member) 97 pts Air Bursting Frag Projector, Targeting array, Missile pod, Hard Wired multi tracker. Elite:9 Crisis Battle Suit Team: (2 members) 124 pts Multi Trackers, Plasma Rifles, Missile Pods Crisis Battle Suit Team: (2 members) 124 pts Multi Trackers, Plasma Rifles, Missile Pods Stealth Suit Team: (6 members) 190 pts Team Leader, Bonding knife. Troops Fire Warrior Team: (10 members) 185 pts Devilfish Carrier, Decoy Launchers. Fire Warrior Team: (10 members) 185 pts Devilfish Carrier, Decoy Launchers. Fire Warrior Team: (10 members) 185 pts Devilfish Carrier, Decoy Launchers. Fast Attack Pathfinder Team: (7 members) 189 pts Devilfish Carrier, Decoy Launchers, Smart Missile Systemd. Heavy Support Heammerhead: (1 Gunship) 170 pts Railgun, Smart Missile System, Decoy Launchers, Target Lock. Heammerhead: (1 Gunship) 170 pts Railgun, Smart Missile System, Decoy Launchers, Target Lock. Sniper Drone Team: (1 team) 80 pts. Total. 1699 Anyways. take a look, I'll reserve defending my choices untill I get some opinions/reasoning since I have not used tau very much, and have not gone against them often either (my main army is eldar) -Legacy40k

Looks very balanced which is usually good in a tournament list, I am wondering why you took the Pathfinders though? Oh and the Air Bursting Frag weapon, is only so-so, you might as well switch to a CIB its a much better weapon because of its multi-purpose nature. . .
Assault 5, 3 strength, 4 ap, with divine guidance is great, against everything but vehicles and it looks like you got the anti-vehicle taken care of with the crisis for the lights and the hammer heads for everything else. . .

Well.. Pathfinders.. because I want to play with the new marker lights  , I figure.. how can you go wrong with that many options?. and in the event that I ever swap in a skyray, they can mark for it. As for for the other special weapon.. The thought of mounting 2 mortars on the shoulders of a crisis suit to represent the indirect fireing abilities of the frag launcher is just too tempting. I also like the fact that it is indirect so I can hide if I want to and still keep firing it. I'm debating giving the commander a fusion gun so that he can sneak up on tanks from behind cover while shooting at infantry over it, then when he gets close, use the targeting array to help take out a tank. -Legacy40k

oh man you NEED multitrackers on all ur tanks otherwise you can't fire their guns if they move over 6" and they NEED to move over 6" so they can become glance-only

I knew I was foretting something.. though realistically, only the 2 hammerheads need multi trackers, it just bonus on the others.. So I have to free up at least 20 points.. -Legacy40k

Pretty solid list overall. There are a couple of things though.
A Targeting Array on a suit that has a Guess weapon is a waste, even if the other weapon rolls to hit. Either take the CIB, or drop the TA.
The Sniper team seems a bit off. They are immobile but will start on the table in escalation games. Maybe something to try, but maybe not.

Your right about the targeting array. The snipers are there because.. Well, I want to see how they perform, they seem decent thanks to the stealth field. I have also thought about exchanging the pathfinders for a couple of Pirhana with fusion guns (maybe targeters?) -Legacy40k
