Hey ive been playen for a year which isn't alot for 40k. I would like to start a small 40k league or just a regular weekly game with some others. My ideas for a league would be no set sides for players but have armies play according to good vs evil, to try and add some flavour to each game this way armys hold grudges n victories more then the players do over each other. Also take in ideas to spice each game up. Ive played with friends and players at local gaming store i feel every game had its excitement but lacks major energy of realism, i know they miniatures
Imagination can go along way. I.e. Trying battles and wars from codex's trying to re create what was written n play it out n see of things change i donno. Sounds cheesy but were all mostly grown men playing with toys why not let are minds be kids, like we used to with ninja turtles and sticks we made guns out of. We dont pretend a bit when we play, we might as well just roll dice on a clean table.
Just some food for thought!
I play alot of sports and id say it isnt a real game till theres a ref n fans. So why not get into are games like fans, because we spend as much or more then a sports fan and they just watch without control, where we have it which allows more.
