I really like the changes. Its almost made for TV and takes the whole "player skill" aspect up a notch or 12.

Sounds pretty awesome actually. No getting list-locked in the finals, more flexibility and fluidity to the final lists. The finals pre-match list building aspect is actually very intruiging, though it does make things a little bit more difficult for Mercs and Minions (who's contract/pact nature means less list cross-over).

Definitely made for TV, the larger list format for the final 4 is a good idea, as it gets more happening on the field, but doesn't make the preliminary rounds hugely long.

Looking for a club in Brisbane, Australia? Come and enjoy a game and a beer at Pubhammer, our friendly club in a pub at the Junction pub in Annerley (opposite Ace Comics), Sunday nights from 6:30. All brisbanites welcome, don't wait, check out our Club Page on Facebook group for details or to organize a game. We play all sorts of board and war games, so hit us up if you're interested.

Pubhammer is Moving! Starting from the 25th of May we'll be gaming at The Junction pub (AKA The Muddy Farmer), opposite Ace Comics & Games in Annerley! Still Sunday nights from 6:30 in the Function room Come along and play Warmachine, 40k, boardgames or anything else!

I think Merc's will actually be ok. Because of being able to combine lists you will be able to have your finals lists with all the super solo's and character units your heart desires. Using 4 Star should give people plenty of options.

Minions......well yea they are hosed right now.
