I just moved out to VA but I'm not too familiar with the area. Where are the best places for events /clubs?

This may be outdated because I haven't been back to Newport News since I graduated from high school (good lord 13 years ago) but a google search shows the stores I went to are still there.

Atomic Comics on Denbigh Blvd had small selection of models and a tiny playing area, back then it was always MtG.

The big store was World's Best on Warwick Blvd, if you pass Huntington Park you went to far, mercury blvd? You went way to far. They had a massive sales area and if I recall correctly a decent playing area.

There was another store called Legends over near the AMC 24 in Hampton but it closed a long time ago. The guy who runs Spiky Bits was the owner.

Resident of NN here, World's Best Comics (WB Comics) is easily your best bet to play, and they have a massive amount of product. There's a specific day people usually show up with 40k (among other games) so I'd just call them up and ask. Atomic comics has a good space, and Atlantis in Ocean View has a growing community.
