Recently I have had a lot of free time, so I decided to break out the old 40K figurines gathering dust in my closet.
Back in 2012 I started to get into the hobby, but never finished my Imperial Guard army. I was exited about GW finally releasing the Hydra! but less so when I found out I have to purchase a new rule book, I currently have the 6th edition.
Anyway I pick up an unpainted guardsman and, what do ya know, his head and arms fall off

So in the process of googling and figuring out what went wrong I happened upon this neat website. I only wish I had know that there was such a thing as plastic solvent glue before I had built my Leman Russ and Basilisk tanks

So there is my story of how I found you guys, I hope to expand my knowledge of war gaming through this website, and find some games. I love table-top gaming, there is just no one to play with these days.
Feel free to hit me up for games, I also play pathfinder and am willing to try any rpg as long as it does not wreck my wallet like 40K.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Hi, welcome to Dakka!

I had a similar problem with models falling apart not so long ago. Got some really useful hints here:
