I was wondering if anyone did any alternative tokens for numbering your ships or something similar? I find the cardboard ones aren't lasting all that well. :-P

I painted the edges of my bases in different colors that match with the colors of card sleeves I put the ship card in. Red base, red card sleeve. No need for numbers and all of my ships are easy to identify.
