So I know that when you use Ancillary Attack you can't spend focus on the jack to boost the attack, as you can only spend focus during your activation. However as it isn't focus is there anything stopping you using the free once per turn boost from a Jack Marshal on the Ancillary Attack (I know Ancillary is not limited to battlegroup models)?
I.e Issyria + Banshee Marshalled off Dawnguard Sentinels +UA + an Arcanist. I was thinking that in a best case scenario this combo could a) reposition the Banshee for free with Drive: Pronto b) Issyria Ancillaries the Banshee which boosts using the Jack Marshal buff c) Arcanist gives the Banshee a focus and it then gets another boostable shot (possibly with an Aim bonus). Net result is 2 boostable ranged slams/knockdowns per turn with a free move thrown in.

I'm not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure that the jack marshal boost can only be done, like normal boosting, during the jacks activation.

Edit: Actually I am now certain of that.

Rules pg number or quote would be good. I don't have an official source with me and the site I am looking at just says 'Once per turn, a marshaled warjack within its marshal's marshaling range may do one of the following.....' , which doesn't mention activation.

Which also means that, in the event a Marshall'd jack gets multiple activations in a turn, it would be able to boost in each of them.

Cool thanks for that guys, would have nice to effectively double the ROF of the Banshee with both shots being boosted but I guess you can't have everything lol. A single unboosted shot might get lucky or I guess I can activate the Banshee before Issyria and fire the aimed and boosted shot first and double slam something into a caster.
