Like the title says is this bundle a good way to get started in Dreadball?

Everything I say, barring quotes and researched information, is my personal opinion. Not fact.

Very much so esp if you think you/your group are serious about getting into DB. It has the core game, the 2 most common teams and 3 seasons worth of rulebooks so you're current with the rules. Lots of bonus stuff for playing DB Ultimate and campaign gaming with MVPs and other bits and bobs. Even more useful if you don't already own the game since it looks like a nice discount on the overall package.

It's really good.. DB, season 2 book and DB ultimate are worth the price tag on their own, and on top of that you're getting the azure forest pack, Dozer and 2 MVPS.

Yes, it is:

1) The full version of the base Dreadball game. Specifically, it is a 'special edition' that also includes a limited £15 mini-expansion.

2) The 'big expansion', Dreadball Ultimate, with everything you need to play that (supports up to 6 players).

3) The season 1, 2 & 3 rulebooks, covering rules for all teams and all play-modes.

4) A few MVPs/characters you can include for a bit of a variety.

While in a sense it's giving you too much to quickly, it's a cost effective way of making sure that you have 'everything' apart from the remaining 10 teams.
