Hey everyone, brand new to the site. I played Warhammer Fantasy about 13 years ago, but sold my army off a few years back, I played as Skaven. I will be moving to the Eugene/Springfield, Oregon area soon, and have had an itch to get back into Warhammer, either 40K or Fantasy. Does anyone know much about the gaming scene in that area? Is it active? Are either of those 2 games played? Thanks for your answers.

I'm not too familiar with the 40K armies, but if I were to get back into Fantasy, I've been looking into Wood Elves, Tomb Kings, or Bretonnian (if they get a new book).
Of course I also don't want to duplicate any other player in the area, so I'd love to mix things up and run something that isn't played very often or at all.

Welcome to DakkaDakka 
Well 40k has some armies that are kinda like the future versions of fantasy teams, such as the wood and high elves can be seen as the Eldar and dark elves as Dark Eldar.
40k is good and not done fantasy for a long, long time but thinking of getting an zombie army from fantasy to create an army base that saw on an PSP game
