Got in a game last weekend with my friend Ishmael and thought you guys might like a quick batrep.




Notable in that he has a zero psycher eldar list, and Karandras makes an appearance.

pretty armies. It was nice on the eyes.

My only suggestion would be to hold more back on initial placement. hold your Gargys, field the lictors (especially with infiltrate and MawMawPrime)
Maybe too many biomorphs, but at 3000 points I can't be too sure you could of fielded much more.

Go save some cash and get those biovores.

Nice batrep, sorry for the loss but Eldar/DE is one of the worst match ups for Nids.

How do you like playing at DZ? And have you met the new manager at the Bunker?

Dark Eldar is very good against Nids with their poison shots which does miracle against MC.
Dark Eldar and Eldar is the most insulting alliance ever, it's like High Elves and Dark Elves coming together even though their ideologies are polarized. GW should stop making this kind of gak and let the Imperium ally with Xenos. In Warhammer Fantasy, the Empire can ally easily with Elves and Ogres.

Nah, we agreed on using fun lists for this game, which is why you see a Trygon Prime and Reaper Tyrant showing up to fight instead of 6 FMC's .
I miss using Lictors and Trygons so it felt good, if not optimized.

Im having a blast, the staff and atmosphere are awesome, and it takes me less than 5 minutes to drive there from my place, so theres just no comparison.

I havent met the new Bunker manager, but there really isnt any reason to go there now. All the old staff actually go to DZ quite often, so you can still run in to
old friends that made Bowie worth going to in the first place. Plus they just have so many more games going, I can always get 40k in most any day of the
week, and they have a really well run campaign going almost all the time.

I wish I lived closer to DZ 9-( or rather, I wish they were closer to me. I live like 5 min from the Bunker lol So DZ is a good drive. But yes, the fun and atmosphere there is much more enjoyable than the GW-run Bunker, which should just go belly up (and sell all of their terrain for cheap, to me).
