As the above says guys, got 3 35 pt lists coming up potentially to play steam roller.

Just looking for any tips/tweaks

Couple thoughts.

That Fiona list seems rather haphazard.

You are running an insane amount of jacks in that list when she is mostly an infantry caster. However it will probably require you to rejuggle some of the Shae list as well.

Fiona really wants a couple things.

1) Something with tough that allows Roth's Mercy shinanigans. At a minimum that would probably be full press gangers (which you have) coupled with Doc (which is with Shae), but is really ugly with Doc and Rockbottom. Your first model is hit...fails the tough roll. Roth's lets you pick another model in the unit to be destroyed...which gets a tough roll. Because the first model failed the tough and was saved via Roth's, it isn't knocked down. With Doc you are saving 50% of your tough rolls.

2) She really wants something with mobility to use Nokronian Brand on. Hawk is perfect for this with her Acrobatics allowing free movement. If she ends up near the unit with Roth's on it to bounce her Sucker to...well that is a bonus as well. The Sucker target takes the hit, fail's the tough test, Roth's bounces it to another model who gets a new tough test.

With that in mind, I would probably juggle the lists like this.

That would make Shae's list be non-tier

I like the mule with Crosse better than the Mariner. Something about 14 inch crit devistation templates makes me giggly.

You gain the buccaneer, you loose Crosse and the focus benefits he gives. Meg brings nothing to the table but repair since she isn't jack marshaling. You could, in that last list, drop a rifle and pick up Meg if you wanted.

Tallion is tough to spread out over so many lists. There just are not alot of options available to them. Unless you are married to Shae, I would explore four star or highborn as they give many more choices.

Your right on the 3 lists, I think I would just stick to 2 lists, probably Bart and Shae, shae being my infantry and broadside Bart doing his thing...

The only reason there where so many jacks in Fiona's was mainly because I has gastonne in there, and she has to use her jack points... I love gastonne I do, but I may have to (for now) used tier list (which your right meg brings nothing but I have no more options) and Bart with the galleon, competitively ofc they are probably my best options... I really like what you mentioned with the tough tests and I'll be giving that a try shortly :p

Any advice on the existing shae and Bart lists then?

Thoughts on Bart

NOt sure on your model availability, but you could go tier 1 easily.

You loose Holt/Alyana and change the boarding crew to pressganagers. (-7 pts net)

You pick up a 7 point mariner in Bart's battle group. You still have a unit of infantry and you maximize the use of Broadside. The reality is that you are going to have Hotshot on the galleon 99% of the time giving you 5 focus. 3 is going to be fed to Broadside ( gaining a second harpoon cannon and a drag, plus a mariner shot), leaving 2 for boosting.

With Shae and a freed up Holt/Alyana to use

drop a rifleman, drop useless Meg, drop a deck gun, pick up Holt/Alyana. I don't think anyone can argue that those two aren't better than what you would be loosing.
