Just wondering if anyone can tell me the points for each force in the new starter box. Cheers!

Based on images shown here: http://www.lead-rising.com/2014/08/operation-icestorm-rules-roundup.html I got 169/1.5swc points for the PanO, 165/1.5swc pts for the nomads. The only SWC weapon on both is the MSR Nisse or Grenzer.

Indeed. It is going to depend on if things got repointed.
I could see Spektrs going down slightly in price since they are losing the Light Shotgun, for example.
