My group has had a question about Blazing Away in DeadZone and has not yet been able to locate a definitive answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I unfortunatelly do not have the Rulebook on hand so my wording will not be exact but I think my question should come across clearly.

Weapons can fire at up to double their normal range which is called "Long Range". Blaze Away says that the target must be within "maximum range" ofthe firing weapon. So can a weapon be used to Blaze Away up to its printed value or up to double its printed value?

Thanks in advance!

Double printed value.

Thanks for the fast response!

That was how I interpreted the rule but it seemed strange that you would be able to Blaze Away at double printed value without any drawback. I understand that the model is laying down a wall of fire at a cube but I would think that even that gets less accurate at maximum range.
