I am a new guy both here and for miniature gaming, I was just wondering if anyone here knows of any active groups here:

Sounds like you're closer to the FW side of DFW, so I can't really speak for what goes on in the town of the cow.

That said, Y2Komics has a robust community. Also, there's Area 51 in Grapevine, Texas Toy Soldier in Addison, Comic Asylum in Richardson and Madness Comics in Plano.

Ok thanks for the info. It also seems like there is a stronger 40k community as opposed to a ww2 one.

I'll be sure to check Y2 Komics and Area51 then.
