Didn't realize how old this game was (1997). I didnt get into it until the early 2000s, when there were still lots of game components on Ebay. I didn't know and still dont know anything about the Trinity role playing game, but since I was collecting every miniature game under the sun back in the day, I grabbed this, and was really impressed with what it included. The terrain was pretty cool for its time (hills, carded buildings and storage tanks), and its really a skirmish game. And even being a skirmish game, there is a lot of creativity and equipment that can go into a single mini, so you can play the same character with all sorts of variations. The minis included in the box were made in a resin type material, but the sold in blisters were metal. I have just about everything ever produced for this game, but havent been able to play it much.

When I purged my gaming collection a few years ago, and decided on a dozen or so core games I didnt think I could live without, this was one of them.

But I dont hear about it much. I know it didnt get a lot of attention when it came out, and White Wolf dropped support for it after about 6 months, which is a shame, as it was a really well put together game.

One of the cool things was a flyer that not only advertised the game, but the flyer unfolded into a poster on one side, and a complete game on the other, where you could just cut out the counters, and play on a 2ft by 2ft playing area just to get an idea of how the game mechanics work. Very cool you dont see that often and definately not anymore as far as I know.

Anyway, if you should ever see the main box set on Ebay, I recommend picking it up. It is rarely listed for a lot, and there is quite a lot of game in the box.

If you do have it, or had it, what do you think of it?

I picked up a copy of the main game for dirt cheap at Gencon a few years back. The hills and card terrain see a lot of use in 40k and I also like using the minis as stand ins for various things. They're not amazing but they're good enough quality to fit in well for 40k or RPGs just fine.

Honestly i can't say i've ever even cracked the rules but you've definitely piqued my interest. Might have to go give them a read.

I was gonna say I've never even heard of it, but looking at the cover art, I do think I've seen it before.

I know absolutely nothing about it, though.
