So looking at the range (massive) of 15mm ww2, I was wondering if there was a good starting option for buying a blister or two with Gruntz in mind. Say a german and allied blister each, but giving enough for a gruntz squad or 2 plus some weapons teams without going overboard on the special toys (the rest in gruntz filling out from tanks and more than likely Nazi Zombies because why not). But yeah, looking at the PSC and FOW stuff it....seems like theres a lot of range, but buying blisters blind may not be the best option...

Your best bet is really to try the Gruntz forums and yahoo group. Gruntz 15mm is a sci-fi game that doesn't get much play over here, and using it for WW2 is even more obscure.

I would use www.gruntomatic.com to build out some squads, specialists, and vehicles. That will give you a starting point for what you want to do with the game, and which models to start off with.

Are you planning on playing strictly WW2? It sounds like you may want to move off into Weird War 2. There are plenty of makers of pulp WWW2 stuff in 15mm. Check out Clockwork Goblin for some ideas.

With squads going from 6-10 men each, and specialists being 1 guy to a team plus heavy weapon on a base... there's a lot of wiggle room.

Gruntz is a platoon sized skirmish game. Not really made for mass battles.
