The Dark Company was formed when Gulliman decided that perhaps the Codex Astartes made the Ultramarines a little too predictable. Sometimes they do stupid stuff, but they still survive due to the amount of new Bruvas who finally realize the truth. In spite of their reputation, Calgar chooses to fight alongside the Dark Company on a regular basis, due to the way that he has to fight insane odds because of their new manouvres and interesting tactical approaches. The Dark Company chooses to deploy their Assault squads in Rhinos and their Devastator squads in Drop Pods, and to foot-slog their ICs and HQ straight down the middle of the battlefield. The Dark Company's armor is slightly darker than that of a normal Ultramarine.

Any input? (I kinda wanted a reason to paint my Ultramarines a slightly darker blue and excuse my horrible tactical decisions.)

Nice! But, dark grey or black armour would better fit the chapter's name.
