Seems like Relic made an all-new website, with forums and all. Normally this would not be a big deal, but it makes me wonder; could this hint to DoWIII being in the making?

Otherwise it does not seem worth it to make a new flashy site for a series that has passed its peak?

Didn't they confirm they were working on DoW3 even before THQ went under?

They did, but the death of THQ seemed to hint at that DoW3's future might be endangered.

This does give hope to the contrary.

SEGA would be dumb not to make it, since Eternal Crusade probably going to give 40k a massive boost in people aware of the IP.

Then again, it's SEGA.

We can only hope I suppose, but I will not be particualry sad if the game never comes out

Not sure it's an entirely new website, butit certainly looks different than before.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

It is, you can see one of the news posts talking about it being new.

The term "new" or "all new" are basically just a little bit of meaningless driven sprinkled over everything that they can even remotely justify calling not-old, in terms of marketing, so that doesn't really convince me

Well if that's the case, the former site and forums that held the Dawn of War and Dawn of War 2 games lapsed, and as a result they ended up gone.

This one is entirely different with a new set of forums. While technically it's more of a grand reopening, the site and forums are newly made.

Fair enough.

DoW III huh? If it runs on my Machine I'll play it. I haven't tested any big games that have come out since it's construction.

I kinda hope it'll be more like DoW II rather than the original.

There is not this idea.

I just hope that if they make it, they include the Imperial Guard as a playable faction right from the start.

I know that that is not likely.

It would be nice. The IG campaign in Retribution was second only to the Ork campaign in awesomeness.

Y'know, I hope this is a glimmer of the future. DoW3 has been on my wishlist since I played Retribution.

Playing through the Ork campaign for the first time, I'm loving it. Haven't gotten past mission two of the IG one yet.

If you play nothing but the Ork campaign in Retribution, generally speaking, you've just experienced the best part of the game.

No no, he WOULD have done the whole thing for a good IG fight..And the hat.

The hat at the end became a bonus.

on the forum. Obviously

I hope that all of the campaigns in DoW3 are different this time, instead of just copy-paste like in retribution.

Even Dark Crusade had more more interesting campaign, and that was just Risk.

Yeh, the Ork campaign was the only retribution campaign I actually liked. Everything else was just dull.

Yeah, I just started the Ork campaign in retribution! And while I'm still not a big fan of the "long tube" philosophy of level design, Orks are still the most fun.

Currently replaying Dow2. Thoroughly enjoyable, the production values of the game are sky high.
