Had a game of this today using the Forge Fathers. I used 4 Brokkr troopers, an Engie with a Drill and a Chief. I get that the FF "thing" is to use what little (and crappy) shooting they have to pin, and get into fighting as soon as they can. Upgrading the chief to a Huscarl just seems like a no brainer unless i'm missing something? The Drill seems a bit of a waste. AP4 isn't exactly rare in the FF list and all it really has is excessive range. The remote mine seems even more of a points waste. How does it get far enough along the board to be worth using?
The bike seems a weird one. It's mobile, but can't fight in close, but the shooting is just a slightly better ranged version of the troopers, as in a suppression machine rather than going for damage. Is it me, or is the Magma gunners the only Specialists worth using?
A bit more of a general question, but what the hell is with that Blaster wielding reb model? Like...5 points for a blasting machine just seems excessive.
