M34....

the execution of the Cacodominus, which was an alien cyborg that had immense power

it just seems, literally like random filler that matt ward came up with...but i would like to see it be expanded on.....

the origin of the cacodominus, who created it? is it a new race? where did it come from????? etc. etc.

And you had to mention Ward because....?

Random events have been used to fill 40k timelines since the very beginning. Crack open an Imperial Armour book and the timeline is loaded with never before heard of events, and you know what? They're awesome. It's the events that we've never heard of that have been lost to the depths of time that are some of the most interesting.

As for the Cacodominus specifically, I could see Guy Haley doing a book about it. He's been on a serious Black Templar bent lately and one of his previous books, Death of Integrity was also previously nothing more than a single blurb in a timeline and that came out fantastically.

Sometimes they go and do books or stories mentioned in the timelines, Sometimes they don't. It's really impossible to predict so the questoin "Will Black Library do a book on The Howling" can really only be answered with a "Maybe.", even by the people at BL and GW.

A story?

They did you one better. They made a movie about it.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
