I have a Reaper Undead giant and a couple of ancient Grenadier undead war elephants that I'm having a little trouble porting over to Kings of War. I will probably call the giant a Greater Obsidian Golem from the Abyssal Dwarf list, using Ushabti as Lesser Golems to allow the allies. I wonder if it would be inappropriate to allow Dark Surge to work on these units. They would be friendly Shambling units, after all...

Another option is to call the giant a troops of Wights to keep them within the army list. Base size and the height of the miniature might raise some eyebrows, however.

The elephants are more problematic. I could call them golems, but I would need more ushabti than I currently have to make it legal. The Vampire on Undead pegasus is too powerful for what I have in mind, vampire cavalry can Waver, and revenant cavalry match chariots better. Ideas?

Interesting. I've got the same giant on my paint desk right now - and I was just thinking of the regular giant profile. Greater Obsidian Golem might work - though they're badly overcosted in the lists. I hadn't worked out a way to use Ushambti, though - so maybe you've come up with it.

I personally wouldn't mind you using Dark Surge - it's RAW legal, and just as importantly to me, the figures are obviously thematic.

Not sure about the elephants - I guess the main difficulty is if you need them to be shambling. Otherwise I'd call them Ogre Chariots.

I would like them to be shambling for the Nerve benefits, mostly. Maybe I'll call the elephants Obsidian Golems and the giant a unit of Wights. KoW players can't be that picky about base sizes, right?
