I'm looking to get some models painted for me as work commitments have made it impossible to finish painting an army myself. I'm looking for quality (obviously). But I'm also looking for value for money. I know usually, the more you pay the better the end product but I'd just like to hear everyones opinion.

Thanks

Ill ask at my club. There are some members whom used to work for Worthy Painting until it went bust.

'Best' is pretty much impossible in this context, but if I suddenly had a tonne of cash I'd commission a lot of stuff from Simon Bradley (Stone Cold Lead) and David Woods (Dwartist).

Wouldn't say no to some Winterdyne pieces too.

If I was slightly more limited in budget I'd go to Roy Duffy (Duff) or Jon Atter (dags / dagenhameast). I'd also throw more work the way of Rob at my local club who's done some cracking scenery / terrain painting for me.

Having seen his work on several forums I've frequented over the years and never failed to be impressed, my vote also lies with winterdyne if possible.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

"You need not fear us, unless you are a dark heart, a vile one who preys on the innocent; I promise, you can’t hide forever in the empty darkness, for we will hunt you down like the animals you are, and pull you into the very bowels of hell." Iron - Within Temptation

I'll second the votes for Winterdyne and Golem, they paint up some fantastic stuff and you can see a lot of their portfolio just but searching for them in the showcase forum. I think Awaken Realms are UK based, and they churn out some great work as well.
