So i just recently got back into Malifaux and i got the 2E main rulebook. That being said, im going through different online resources and i keep running into models that dont have profiles in the rulebook. Am i missing their actual profiles in other books, do they carry over from 1st E or is the internet just crazy?

Edit: My biggest concern really is, are Kirai and The Dreamer still playable in 2E

Pretre: Are repressors assault vehicles? If they are, I'm gonna need emergency pants.
n0t_u: No, but six can shoot out of it. Other than that it's a Rhino with a Heavy Flamer thrown on if I remember correctly.
Pretre: Thanks! I guess my pants are safe and clean after all.

They have all the stats available in arsenal decks. Basically a deck if stat cards, one for each faction (I think.). If you pick up the Neverborn Arsenal deck, it has the Dreamers stats along with all the other other 1st edition miniatures who's plastic box sets haven't been released, like Collodi.

Edit: in the the other hand, you probably shouldn't take my word on any of this. I've never even played a game of Malifaux

Not quite correct. The minis line is broken into 2 books (the first ones largely being what was in 1st edition's core books), with faction decks also broken down the same lines, so each faction gets 2. Both masters you referred to are in their respective 2nd faction decks (the ones with faction symbols, not the ones with illustrations, on the boxes)

The 2nd book he's referring to is called Crossroads and released last week, if you didn't get it at this year's Gencon. Between the two books, every miniature they've made is covered except for the line of Avatars.

THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED!!!

Thanks a million. Here I was having a model wargamers panic attack.

Sure, and good call, MightyGodzilla, forgot they weren't covered.

Wait, what? Avatars are still not playable?

Not that I care that much, I always thought the mechanics were very fiddly. And I haven't had the heart to build Kirai's yet... it seems so top heavy.

They said on the official boards that Avatars are currently not even in testing. The testers were so worn out after wave 1 and 2 that they put Avatars on hold until wave 2 was under control.

Players got very burnt out over play testing, so the Avatar test results weren't very good. They'll be giving it another try in a few months for Book 3.

They have gone into how the Avatar system will work though; they'll be upgrades that you flip when you've met the conditions for that Avatar upgrade.

I can't wait to put my Avatar Sonnia (the only one I cared to buy) on the table.

Yep, I think everyone was a bit burnt out to work on some of the more advanced minis at the end... some looked promising, some were kinda' muddled.
