Looking to get in to this game. Love the Middle Earth world and these models look amazing. Wondering if anyone can provide a quick break down of the different groups with some strengths, weaknesses, and play style to help me decide how to go. Must confess leaning a bit more to evil but could see owning both sides. Thank you for any help or support.

First off is this for the Hobbit? Or the fantasy lord of the rings version, they are both very different.

I will just assume you mean the Hobbit for these next few lines.

Isngard:
Strengths-strong troops with high defense values and well costed with equipment for anything you need.
Weaknesses-Weak heroes, not as cheap as orcs or gobbos.

Mordor:
Strengths-cheap troops, trolls, decent heroes, catapults and bolt throwers.
Weaknesses-low courage values.

Cave dwellers:
Strengths-Cheapest troops, like madness cheap, trolls, dragons, Balrogs, wargs, spiders, bats.
Weaknessess- none, just none.

Fallen realms:
Strengths-good shooting, poison weapons, lots of cav, Mumikil, the Serpent lord.
Weaknesses-low defenses, and the mumikil is unpredictable.

So there you have it a quick review though keep in mind nothing in the Hobbit is unbalanced really.

Hope this helps.
