Subject: [50] - Protectorate of Menoth - First List (pKreoss)

First time on Dakka for a while.
Back playing Warmahordes with a new faction. Decided to try Menoth. This is the list I'm working up to:
High Exemplar Kreoss
* Reckoner
* Reckoner
* Hierophant
Choir of Menoth (Leader and 3 Grunts)
Exemplar Bastions (Leader and 4 Grunts)
Exemplar Errants (Leader and 9 Grunts)
* Exemplar Errant Officer & Standard Bearer
Exemplar Bastion Seneschal
Exemplar Errant Seneschal
High Paladin Dartan Vilmon
Paladin of the Order of the Wall
Paladin of the Order of the Wall
Rhupert Carvolo, Piper of Ord
The Wrack (3 wracks)
Covenant of Menoth
Typical Pop and Drop list, but I wanted to use some of my favourite models (Bastions and their Seneschal & Vilmon and two Paladins). I think this list might have some staying power and be able to bring the hurt.
I'm working up to this, so I have the BB, Choir, Vassal, Vilmon and Paladins so far.
Am I going in the right direction for this being a good list?

Looks good to me - traditional pop'n'drop goodness. Normally I'd leave out either the paladin trio or the bastions to get a unit of Zealots and possibly some utility Mercs (Eyriss/Taryn/Gorman), but if you like those models, may as well get them onto the field
What you are Conspicuously missing in the list is a Vassal of Menoth however, though you list it in the things you have. Definitely change out the Errant Senechal for one, and possibly a pally/Heirophant for a second? Just a thought.

Sorry, but you don't really have a Pop'n'drop list here. Its a good attrition style list, but its not Pop'n'drop.
Pop'n'drop has 3 shooty warjacks, with one almost always being a Redeemer, and 2 Vassals. Taryn di'la Rhovissi is also a halmark of that particular style.
Pop'n'drop means you project a ranged assassination threat. 2 reckoner shots aren't going to assassinate anyone except a caster with squishy stats who has no focus/fury on them. 2 reckoner shots, 3 redeemer shots, and 2 Vanquisher/Reckoner shots will kill anyone you can knock down.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines
Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Yeah, I've changed the list now to reflect this:
System: Warmachine
Faction: Protectorate of Menoth
Casters: 1/1
Points: 50/50
High Exemplar Kreoss
* Reckoner
* Reckoner
Choir of Menoth (Leader and 3 Grunts)
Exemplar Errants (Leader and 9 Grunts)
* Exemplar Errant Officer & Standard Bearer
Holy Zealots (Leader and 9 Grunts)
* Holy Zealot Monolith Bearer
Eiryss, Angel of Retribution
Gorman di Wulfe, Rogue Alchemist
Initiate Tristan Durant
* Redeemer
The Wrack (3 wracks)
Vassal of Menoth
Vassal of Menoth
This is going to be part 1 of 3 lists.

Very nice.
I run almost that exact same list.
