Hello,

This is just a theoretical question I have. If a model has impersonation (not +) and I'm playing Combined Army, can they not use their impersonation ability against me since they would be trying to impersonate an alien (there are no humans in the combined army except for Ko Dali after all)?

This question hasn't come up before, but with one of my friends looking at Haqqisalm I think it might, and I would like to get an answer, because I'm guessing there might be some angry reaction over it if they buy a model and learn the ability doesn't work "because aliens".

Human figures with Basic Impersonation will never be able to pose as an alien miniature (Antipode, Morat, Shasvastii, etc.) and vice versa. The Impersonator will not be able to act in State 1 against the Combined Army of the E.I. but he will always act in State 2.

Thanks for the (obvious now I see it nested there at the bottom of the rule description) link. I was wondering why I never saw it brought up in the FAQ or online anywhere. Turns out it was sitting there in front of me the whole time.

I blame the fact that I never use impersonators, so I never had occasion to read the rules too closely.
