the units were upgraded with some stuff... would not let me seee list (he is stubborn)
Mission was Maelstrom: Tactical Escalation.
Deployment: he set up fist had his Bloodclaws in Stormfang and that was in reserves.
I had my Dakkarant, Rippers, and Mawloc in reserves. had all units behind walls for the cover save with the veno
SW turn one: moved up a bit shot at termas, used some psychics which i denied then that was about it, pretty uneventful.
Tyranid turn one: cast onslaught on terms and failed with catalyst on dakkafex. Terms went up shot the Longfangs killing 2 of them. Biovore killed some from the other group exocrine put a wound on Njall . my obective was capture point 4, which i made my warriors get .
SW turn two: Stormfang comes on, as does arjac he thunderclaps my termgaunts, rolls all 2 or 3s and fails. stormfang shoots at my biovores, hormagaunts, dealing 3 wounds to bio and killing 4 hormas. longfangs kill 5 termagaunts then charge... then with overwatch i Kill 3 more longfangs! only 3 more left. njall charges my termagaunts as well? fine. some rockets and lasguns shoot at warriors killing one.
Tyranid turn two: Dakkarant, rippers, AND the mawloc come out, NO MISHAPS! the mawloc blast kills all the devastators, the dakkarant shoots at the stormfang and.... DESTROYS IT! what luck! rippers take objective six. hormagaunts charge and kill 2 longfangs, he kills maybe 3. exocrine shoots streams at Arjac, and kills him! my objectives were control 6, and control 6, which was where my other warriors were and my rippers at 5.
SWturn three: with his bloodclaws and ragnar relatively unscathed, they shoot my biovores kiling them, then charge the exocrine, taking 3 wounds off, he does 5 back, only saving 1. Other devasttators shoot at rippers to kill, only one wound dealt. hormaguants slaughter the longfangs and move toward his surviving group of devastators in ruins. termagaunts kill all but one longfang and Njall.
Tyranid turn 3: I kill the rest of his troops, manage to get the dakkafex to charge and attack, with the terms and fex, was able to kill Njall... dakkarant trys to kill devastators, but cant. 2 survive. we decide to call it as he only has his bloodclaws and ragnar left. my objective was capture 5, 3, and destroy and enemy unit
I got linebreaker, and firstblood, he has linebreaker.
score of the game would have been: 7-1
