I would say, if you're trying to get people to become interested in the game, it's a very bad idea to link to a battle report without any photos at all.

It's a battle report of a Casual game we're playing for a Global League.

Often, battle reports will not have pictures and, not saying I won't do pictures for a future game, but again, since it was casual I didn't have a good camera on me (I could use crappy phone camera photos if you really want).

That being said, I did take the time to draw up some graphics using Battle Chronicler which should make it more interesting then just describing the game and as far as ""very bad ideas" I didn't find your comment to be especially inviting... especially to someone new to your forums.

I guess I'll do my best to try and entertain you next time.

I love Dark Age, but I'd have to agree. In a constructive way, having some pictures really would draw in folks who haven't heard of that game. Which are a lot of people

Even if it's not a play-by-play, having photos of models helps a ton.

Not trying to be rude at all, just pointing out that not many people would be interested in reading a battle report for a game they don't play without pictures. I'm sure it's well written.

Per your suggestion, we did our best and came up with two games with Battle Report, WITH pictures.

One other thing. I'd suggest posting them one at a time with a few days between. Doing 5 at once, especially when just providing links to off-site websites is quite spammy.

I didn't do five at once, only the last 2-3. The first two were done a loooooong time ahead (see the dates).

Also, we kind of knew it would be but the league ends at the end of the month.... :/
