I've known about the site for years, but I just decided to create an account today.

A little about me:

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I have a passion for collecting rulebooks. My favorite part of the hobby is... well, if I'm honest, probably buying new models. Bit of a collecting freak, I confess. Kit bashing and painting are in a close second. I like all of my models to be unique. Writing and testing custom rules is third. Actually gaming (without tons of house rules) is a distant fourth, and I almost never play GW games.

For Warhammer 40k, I previously played Tyranids and Witch Hunters/Sisters of Battle. After several years, I complemented my Sisters with a small contingent of inquisitorial forces, and some space marines. Then, I tried purchasing some Imperial Guard, but that didn't go so well. I have since sold my Tyranids, adopted a Tau force that I never use, and substantially downsized my Witch Hunters army from 2500 points to an unplayable size (one troop squad and a handful of weapon options, several HQs, two vehicles -- mostly it's for painting up and having, not playing).

I'm finishing my law degree this winter. I focused on intellectual property. I will most likely be licensed to practice law by February.
