Hi everyone,
My name is Kevin and I am a huge miniature fan. I play the traditional games like Malifaux, WFB and Infinity (I think this has become one of the bigger games) but I also play and collect rule sets of any sort of miniature game. The ones currently making it to the table most often are Dark Ages, Pulp Alley, Secrets of the Third Reich, Warlord and In Her Magesty's Service. Other games I'm loving the minis for are Wild West Exodus and Empire of the Dead. There are plenty more mini games and company but I will save them for another post.
Up until now, I have only lurked on this page after finding out about the site from listening to the
D6 Generation and Nerdherders (love my gaming podcasts). I normally do all my rants over on the Reaper website as I go to their convention each year.
The reason I decided to finally join and post is that my friends and I are trying to get the word out about our KickStarter that launched yesterday. Our company is called
http://6squaredstudios.ca and the
KS can be found here:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1951637874/old-west-street-tiles?ref=users. We are making quality resin old west streets that are great for Malifaux and Wild West Exodus. As we reach funding, we will have plenty of additional accessories added in including hay bales, water troughs and a "sleepy hollow" inspired covered bridge to go over our water tiles. The purpose of the KickStarter is for us to raise capital so that we can purchase additional machines that will allow us to make even more sophisticated sculpts.
Most of all, we just want to make terrain to make our models look even better on the table.
I hope that me having my first post being about a KickStarter isn't breaking any rules or considered rude. That is not my intention. I am just trying to get the word out so that we can get our modest company off the ground. All our sculptures are designed and crafted by us and we are also making all the molds. If you are a fan of table top terrain, I hope you consider giving us a chance. We will do our best to exceed your expectations.
All the best, eh?
