I have recently got back in to 40k following what was probably a 15 year hiatus! I picked up the dark vengeance set and have been loving it. I have almost finished paining it so have ordered some new models which I am expecting to arrive anytime soon. My question is;

I have brought a RW battleforce and a RW command squad, can I create black knights from the battle force? I am planning on getting a second DV set and building:

1x Librarian on Bike (Convert from DV RW Stg.)
1x Command Squad (Champion, Banner & Apoc)
6x RW Bike Squad (5x DV Models and 1x Box Model)
5x Black Knights (using spare bits from command squad and RW Battle force models)

Will I have enough bits to be able to do this? If not, what else will I need?

No. I'm afraid that you can't make RW Black Knights out of the Ravenwing Battleforce. Simply because you don't have the "Plasma Talons" bits in the battleforce.

With the command squad you get 3 plasma talons, and one ravenwing grenade launcher, so if you make someone with the grenade launcher, you have an extra talon set for one other bike.

DW Knights are pretty badass. I use them quite often to go smush a monstrous creature or two with their Seal Clu... I mean Maces of Absolution.
