I just mover to Louisiana, a small town no one has heard of (I seriously think I saw a sign that said population 250), that's about halfway between Monroe and Alexandria. I'm looking for a FLGS with open gaming for WH 40K in that area.

Thanks.

Things may have changed since I was at Fort Polk (2012), but having the misfortune of being there also means there's not much happening in the way of 40K in Leesville or Alexandria.
There are games stores in Shreveport and Lake Charles.
I went to Paper Heroes in Lake Charles, and it was ok. Not much gaming space, and everyone was into Warmachine/Hordes at the time.

Good luck.

There's a nice little store on Texas Ave in Alexandria called Now Playing. They have weekly 40k nights and occasional tournaments. My feeling is that there are quite a few players in the area due to Fort Polk but the lack of stores keeps everyone into small, friends-based groups.
