Personal fluff for a 200pt Kill Team of Two Venoms, each with 5 warriors.
----------------------------
An Archon of a long forgotten Kabal had two Trueborn Children with one of his concubines. They were twins, Brother and Sister. They grew up to be stronger, tougher, faster and smarter than most of their peers. This was because they developed in a state of constant competition; endeavouring to beat each other at everything, often dueling for hours on end or having each other assassinated in creative ways; keeping their Father's personal Haemonculus busy with resurrections. They enjoyed this state of affairs and it continued well into their late teens, which honed all of their skills to a keen edge.
Unfortunately their Father's skills were in decline. His success, wealth and power led to him growing complacent and complacency gets you killed in Commorragh. The twins noticed the subtle threats and signs that pointed to an imminent change in local power and decided to leave. They stole the two fastest Venoms, kidnapped their father's personal Haemonculus and left. Even when they heard about the destruction of their erstwhile home and the brutal murder of their father, they refused to allow the Haemonculus to resurrect him because they believe that was the price of his stupidity and weakness. They no longer had any allies or friends in the Webway and so they left that too.
Setting up home in an Asteroid in a dead solar system, they began to make a life for themselves. With the help of the Haemonculus, they grew exactly eight Warriors to fight for them from their own DNA, not clones but essentially siblings. These siblings were genetically engineered to be subservient so that they would never even contemplate a coup. They then imprisoned the Haemonculus in a cage, blindfolded and restrained, only ever giving him enough stimulus to survive. As their siblings grew older, the twins raised them and trained them and developed them into an elite, combat ready force. If they ever take losses on a raid, they get the Haemonculus to resurrect them all in exchange for a week outside of his cage and captives with which he can do whatever he desires.
They know that if all of them die, no-one will be able to release the Haemonculus and it would be their final deaths. They accept that not only because it keeps them on their toes but because if they did all die then they would deserve it for being stupid or weak.
