I'll be attending a semi-local GT this weekend and I've decided to designate a thread to my experience. This is the second Renegade Open, in 2013 they had 60+ participants (if I remember correctly.) They ran an awesome event last year and I've been looking forward to the 2014 event! Info can be found here: http://www.renegadeopen.com/about/

I'm going to attempt to provide a jy2-style battle report, because he has a great presentation and does a great job chronicling his experience. First a couple notes: First: I'm not a great painter....my army is largely unfinished, yet does satisfy the event's minimum requirement of 3 colors + basing. Second: I've only even attended 3 events in the past and while I enjoy the aspect of commanding an army, I make lots of mistakes but hope not to! Last, I don't write lots of battle reports, so if I make any mistakes, please feel free to ask!! Now on to my list:

*Note* Renegade open is part of the BOA tournament circuit and so uses a modified BAO FAQ and secondary maelstrom missions. Additionally, they allow select FW at the event, self allying, and only 2 sources can be used towards the roster.

Well I haven't seen T-fexes used in awhile...But besides that the list is pretty good. Should be interesting!
