I’ve been playing orcs for a good long while now and as a fervent member of the “Green Hordes”. I want to ask a few questions now that this era of Warhammer Fantasy is coming to a close with first being an answer to who is the “Once and Future Git” Wurrzag has been searching for?

In the Nagash end times book we read that Wurrzag has had an a moment of insight, perhaps it is not one but “TWO” gits he is searching for. We are led toward the idea that it is Grimgor Ironhide and Skarsnik. As Grimgor is without a doubt brutal and craves war like humans crave water, and Skarsnik is cunning above all others.

My second question is, if Grimgor and Skarsnik are the chosen ones, how is Wurrzag going to unite this duo of everything orc? Grimor obviously has issues with goblins as he killed all the ones who had been following him after he had been defeated by Crom’s forces. Grimgor is not known for his open minded take on life while Skarsnik might be willing to work with Grimgor, as shown in “Skarsnik” the Warlord of Eight Peaks knows a good deal when he sees one, so it could go either way.

My third and final question is with a world now besieged by Nagash and his forces, Chaos in record numbers, an empowered Karl Franz, and the Dark Elves laying siege to Ulthuan what are the Orcs going to have that could crush such opposition? What chant can Wurrzag cackle, what scheme could Skarsnik cook up and what act of violence could Grimgor do that can turn the orcs into a real competitor in the End Times Era?

I've often wondered about the fate of the orcs & goblins. If GW goes about its consolidation spree, I wonder if Ogres could team up with Orcs & Goblins? They all have a lust for war and pillaging, and certainly could fit the role of 'Famine' in the End Times 'four horsemen of the apocalypse' that is already represented by death (Nagash), plague (Glottkin) and war (Khaine). Of course, Skaven could also fit the 'Famine' mantle well.

As to uniting them, its often mentioned that Orcs & Goblins are more numerous and excitable during times of great conflict. Every major war seems to attract their attention, so no doubt there would be a growing demand amongst the tribes to not miss out on the 'fun' that everyone else is having.

Looking forward to hearing their fate
