So, I'm thinking about trying to get a local Ravenloft game together again, and as I've said before, I'm a huge fan of props. Here's something I've been working on, and I want feedback on it. I'm no artist, but I thought it was about time someone held a nice cloth map in their hands.



It's not done yet, I was going to do a couple burn marks and some weathering, but that's what I have so far. Thoughts?

.. Think you can age it with .. tea ..? ... and/or the like as well.

Update: I've "finished" the map. Meaning I finally completed the detail I was wanting to do. I released the map to one of the players though, but we should be gathering later tonight, so I'll snap another picture and share.

I don't have it weathered yet. I was going to do that with tea most likely, though on a test scrap of fabric, coffee grounds (what I happened to be drinking at the time) did a good job too. I normally use tea for paper, so I will need to test with tea and see how it comes out by comparison.
