How would you do it?

I want to create a dominion battleship for home play, on a larger base, using a much larger model, to represent the huge dominion battleships seen in the latter days of the dominion war, such as the battle for Cardassia.

I'll keep the cards it comes with, but how would you run the stats for it and how would you point cost it? Rear firing arc?

Bear in mind it's for friendly games, for my wife's fleet. So does not have to obey tourney rules and can be decked out as the hulking monster it should be.

Mostly, on my phone.

I shall have a proper think on this, but off the top of my head you could start by using the borg cube and work from there?

Hmm neat idea, let me share a similar idea we did maybe it could help you out:

We did a similar Idea with DS9 we retooled the model for a large mega battle. DS9 ended up being 4 sections 3 pylons and the center module. The total cost for DS9 was 168 (PW 5 Evade 0 Hull 8 Shields 8) on each section. Each pylon had 2 weapon slots 1 tech and 1 crew; no captain or admiril could be attached. Crew attached to a pylon could only affect that pylon. The pylons could each do an action: Scan, BS, EV, TL. Evade represented more of a brace for impact and reduced damage from each attack by one. The center module had 3 Crew, 1 Tech, no weapons, and the same action choices and the pylon brace for impact special rule. Module Crew cards could only affect the module or one pylon per turn. We allowed any section to take Bajorian or Federation upgrades, along with select weapon and tech upgrades from Cardassian ships (Kraxon, Koranok). No cloaking device of course. Each Pylon was -2 captian skill to represent a delay in recieving orders and execution of command.

We allowed it a 45 Degree rotation as a white manuver, and a 90 degree rotation as a red manuver. No movement was a green manuver. This was before the retail movement rules of course.

This colossus was over 350 points It worked very well, it did't seem over powered but both teams did have 1200 points so at this point level cheese builds seemed to have little effect on the game.

My point is telling you this is maybe you could increase the ships cost based on multiple fire points 10 points for every extra weapon at strength 5. I'd also give it a few more hull and or shields (2 points each). Each extra fire point is -2 skill from your current captian skill maybe 1 weapon upgrade and 1 crew. The crew of the fire points follow the same idea as the pylons (ony affect thier weapon) and main ship crew follow the module rule above (only affect the main ship or one extra weapon per turn). Extra fire points can TL and BS only......

Good Luck
