Somewhere in south-central England.

Fantastic, I love it.

Ney's baldy head with his ginger hair.

The dapple effect on the grey horse is good.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Stunning. Napoleonic gamers must have the patience of saints. Hats off to you.

Everyone should definitely check out the painting reference picture on his blog. A lot more was accomplished here than good looking miniatures. What a great set to paint-- you more than did it justice.

I listen to the Sharpe series of audiobooks by Bernard Cornwell while painting Napoleonics. Though I would also highly recommend the Napoleon Podcast, which is a general biography and history podcast about the man himself.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Thank you guys (and sorry for only replying now... somehow I only got adverts when accessing the forum on holidays)!

Regarding the patience of Saints... we are Saints... well at least some of us! ;-)
