In the psychic powers descriptions it says that summoned units are treated as arriving from Reserves for all applicable rules... Would this allow a unit with the Interceptor special rule to fire upon them?

Welcome to the forum. The subforum about rules queries is called "You Make Da Call", and a mod will probably move this thread there.

In answer to your question: they're treated as arriving from reserves for all applicable rules. Interceptor weapons can fire upon units arriving from reserves. Therefore, yes, the Interceptor rule can be used against summoned units.

EDIT: Just remember that most summoned units are ground-pounders, and most Interceptor weapons (excepting Tau) are Skyfire. In those cases you'll be firing snap shots.

Not necessarily.

Yes, they count as units arriving from reserve. However, Interceptor isn't a license to fire whenever you like; a weapon with the Interceptor special rule can be fired at the end of enemy Movement phase.

This is before summoned units turn up, since they do so in the Psychic phase - at which point Interceptor weapons have already either fired or passed their opportunity to do so.

Locarno24 is right.

Your can only use interceptor at the end of the opponents movement phase.

Since summoned daemons arrive in the psychic phase which is after the movement phase it can't be used unfortunately.

Oh, good point. I stand (sit?) corrected. My apologies, and my thanks for the correction.

Except in the (very) rare case when a Deep Strike Mishap moves a conjured unit into Ongoing Reserves.
