My idea is to Capitalize on moving first (everyone at my store runs High PS pilots) Use the freighters to get in the way and bump my opponents since MY ship[s have 360 Main gun shooting. Both of My big ships have a few actions for maneuvering, So I plan on using Intel agent to set me up to be in their way. I am sure im going to take a pounding the first turn or so, But If i play it right, I could negate 2-3 ships from shooting at my ships (im hoping) What do you guys think?

Your biggest problem is going to be that you have no guns or defense, especially once your ORS goes down. So you'll block, but then you won't have anything to take advantage of the opportunity you created. Meanwhile even actionless ships can still damage everything in your list, and when you fail to block everything you're going to be hurt badly for it. It's ok to use a blocking element, but you really need some high-firepower threats to turn a block into a dead ship instead of just dragging out the game into a battle of attrition that you can't win.

Also, you're going to pretty much auto-lose against phantoms. Intelligence agent can't read the decloak maneuver, blocking one decloak direction doesn't stop them from changing their plan and going the other way, blocking doesn't stop them from shooting and recloaking with ACD, and your two-dice guns are rarely going to get any damage through four defense dice.

Well the good news with that is Im the only Phantom player in the store lol. But in all seriousness. Im going to try this out. My idea is to bump into opponents formations, Most of the players run 2 x wings and 2 b wings. The one list I am worried about is Biggs Arien Teb and a Bandit squad z95. It's my buddies list and giving me a rough time. Teb has that card that gives him 0 PS for moving. Arien shoots first then gives Teb a free action which my buddy uses Marksmen. meanwhile I ahve to try and mow Biggs down first. he's always in the back, always away from me. I figured this time Just crash into the formation with 2 huge bases and slow him down. having the 2 bandits flank wide around and get in behind him.

Honestly, it sounds like your local players just aren't all that good. Your opponent's XBZZ list is terrible, and "conventional" XXBB lists haven't really been good since wave 4 was released. So I guess maybe even a bad list has a chance of beating them? Don't expect it to work in a more competitive environment though.

Sorry if the truth hurts. Maybe in your next thread you should include a note that you're asking for people to tell you how great your list is, and honest feedback is not welcome?

Honest feedback is not being a douche hat buddy seems you need to learn the difference between the two. My Local store only recently picked this game up, and were all learning. God forbid we all don't run net lists and clone each other. Mods can close this thread, I'll stick to the FFG community instead of wasting time with assclowns like this.

So then what's the problem with saying you're not very good players? Nobody expects newbies to be great players, and it's not an insult to point out that it's easier to win with weaker lists when your opponents aren't competitive experts.

God forbid we all don't run net lists and clone each other.

1) Whining about "netlisting" doesn't change the fact that a list is weak. You don't get better dice or whatever just because you're "original" and didn't bring a stronger list.

2) There's a difference between not netlisting and bringing bad lists. There's plenty of room to bring good lists that aren't netlists, and "I'm not going to netlist" is not a valid response to criticism of your list-building choices.

Whoa! The number one rule of this site is "be polite", we're way past that here!

Language of this type is completely unacceptable on Dakka.
