No more stealing your own upgrades. This was never a problem in my area but I have heard of people using this tactic in other metas. Nice to see WK clarify. You can target opponents upgrades by stealing but not you own ships.

So for any of you planning on stealing your own fighter upgrades on to your own ships or taking Varel from you Science Vessel and putting on Wayoun's ship

From a 'rules intended' standpoint, I think it makes sense and, yet again, can be seen as most everything else has been, a curtailing of unexpected outcomes/bending the obvious initial rule into something other than intention.

From a ST perspective, I don't really understand why you can't beam someone from one ship to another in your fleet? Less 'stealing' as 'transferring'.

It's a great ruling and I honestly don't know if I'm happier that these shenanigans are stopped or that Tucker and Will from SOTF won't stop whining about it on FB and BGG!

If you are going to read my mind don't do it between 4&5, that's me time.

Will is only ticked off because he won 2 regionals with a list where he stole Varel of his own ship and now he can't do it anymore.

And Tucker was the guy who arranged a result with an opponent to benefit both in the final standings....grrr
