GigaCon Fantasy is the first of three GTs being held in Atlanta this year, the others being a 40k GT & Warmachine Weekend Qualifier.

The Basics:
Giga-bites Cafe will be hosting a 2-day Warhammer Fantasy Tournament April 11th-12th. The points level for this tournament will be 2500. The entry fee is $35 on or before March 28th, 2015, $45 after March 28th. The maximum number of entries is 60. Pre-pay is the only way to guarantee a slot. If there are more than 32 participants, the tournament will be 6 rounds.

Army Construction
All armies will be constructed using no more than 2500 points and the most current rules for Warhammer Fantasy and your chosen Army Book (Chaos Dwarfs are legal). The cutoff for any rules changes, including a new edition of the game, is March 7th. All Army books released on or before that date must be used. If a new edition of the game is released after that date, it will not be used. The army lists presented in the End Times Books, cannot be used. Individual units (models) presented in the books may be used with the appropriate non-End Times armies where they are allowed to do so in their entry, i.e. Morghasts. The ruling on the End Times lists is subject to change based on the releases between now and the cutoff date. Lore of Undeath is legal and may be used. Lists do not need to be submitted prior to the event, but a copy (electronic or paper) must be available upon request by the Tournament Organizer or opponent. I will be coming around to review lists during the tournament. In the event that your list is found to be "illegal" you will forfeit all games up to and including the round in which the illegality is discovered. You will then be given the opportunity to revise your list and continue with the remaining games.
