I'm working on converting some figures for my Rebs gang, I haven't played yet so I'm curious what the weapon break down for a gang would be. For example the core pack has two heavy weapons and there's a missile launcher in the support set. Does those cover the options for the gang pretty well? Or would I want to have additional figures beyond those?
Not looking for a list, just a general idea of how many troops with rifles vs heavy weapons. Currently I'm working on stuff that looks cool but I'd like to model the gang with some playability as well.

Human Trooper, Yndij, Drone (if points allow): 10-13 points. Th human lays down some covering fire (backed by the Drone) while the Agile Yndij uses its better movement to grab objectives/equipment. If need be, once in position, the Yndij then provides cover fire for the human to run up and join him. You can then repeat this or reverse it, depending on the mission. Take a couple of these teams each game, I say.
Grogan with Desolator, never leave home without one. AP3 on a non-deliberate weapon means you can take an Aim action for 4 shooting dice even without a Clear Shot bonus, and pretty reliably put down armoured targets. He's less good against Tough, unless you use the House Rule that AP3 can go through Tough as well as armour, but overall, pretty indespensible.
Terraton: Just great. The 2-cube Teleport (not hindered by terrain) basically creates a 'no go' zone around her where if you move in it, you will get charged and torn up. She can soak damage better than anything else the Rebs have, and is all-round nasty.
Soroak+Kraww or Terraton works well, use the former to blast the enemy to the ground, then pounce with the CC unit to finish them. I wouldn't build a list around this, but it can work as a one-off.
I prefer the Sniper over the Yndij Sergeant for a leader, simply due to more damage potential/toughness and better leadership.
needs more dakka lol. Any way I'd mod your extreme yndij to have a sniper rifle, wicked sculpts I am mildly jealous, it's the sort of thing I want in my crew
Center left model I'm not sure on the name, it's one of the models from dreadball. I'm not sure if it's a KS exclusive or something from the base set. I snagged it from my brothers stuff as he wasn't using it and was willing to part with it.
I'll likely be using a duplicate of that model for the sniper conversion.

its not kickstarter exclusive so far only comes in the dreadball extreme boxed set its a yndij free agent and on my most wanted list lol. Have you considered a model for the terraton proxy yet? if not can suggest this?
http://www.manticgames.com/mantic-shop/dreadball/giants/product/alpha-simian.html with a little mods to represent a micro grenade launcher and flame thrower would make a good proxy. If your also going for basic box you need to make one with a space shotgun thing(sorak's use them to blast guys around
