Hi I've read stuff on here from time to time but recently was told I should spend more time here so I decided to start posting!

I've been into the hobby for around 5-6 months and I've really fallen in love with it. More on the artistic end but I also like the game quite a bit although not in as much of a competitive way as a lot of people.

Got into 40k in other media before I ever started the actual hobby. Loved the video games and still play both Dawn of War series often. After getting into the hobby I got very into all the Black Library novels and am loving the Horus Heresy (only three books in) and really love anything by Dan Abnett the most.

I have a number of armies, primarily Necrons and Dark Angels but also working on Tau, Crimson Slaughter and Imperial Gard. I would like to one day have 2,000 points at least of every army although obviously that's a big commitment.

I play mostly with friends but have had a few games with people from the now closed TFLGS in far SW Portland. If you live in the area and would like to have a friendly but still competitive game sometime at Guardian or anywhere else in the area feel free to post. I'll post a photo of some of my recent painting work.
