so either the game is super simple or the rulebook sucks... im not sure which.
the actual rules section is so short. wow...

ok, the questions.
does a model accumulate hits over the turn or do you need enough hits in a single attack to damage/kill a model?

if a model has multiple melee attacks do they have to choose which one they want to use(since you only get one action) or get all of them?

a special ability is an action so you either melee or use a special ability right?

i think thats it for now.

any feedback on actual game play yet?

For the first question, if the model has life blood higher than 1, it accumulates damage until it dies. If a model has a resiliance (Blue Shield Symbol) of 2 it takes 2 strikes in one attack or combined attack to remove 1 lifeblood.

so if a model has resiliance 1 and 2 lifeblood and you are attacking with a model that uses 1 D10, it will take 2 attack to kill the target

If the target has resilience 2 and 1 life blood, and you are attacking with 1 D10, you need to crit to kill the model because it takes two strike in 1 attack to cause 1 lifeblood of damage.

For multiple attacks, you get 1 unless you have a higher attack rate.

I've played 1 intro level game so far, The game goes quick with the Moral system. Definatly need something to track damage for multiwound models. Also Something to track activations helps since you can get confused what you activated that round while switching activations.

Haven't played yet. Looking forward to it in the next month or so as I get some models built. I'm a fan of the rules, they're very tight, well defined and concise after two read throughs.

A model doesn't accumulate hits. You must generate enough hits to cause a point of damage, otherwise left over hits from the attack are discarded. E.g., a model with a Resilience of 2 and Wounds of 2 would take: 0 wounds for 0-1 hits, 1 wound for 2-3 hits, 2 wounds for 4+ hits.

You get one attack action per model per activation.

Some special abilities might be an action, not all of them are though.

I haven't played WoK yet, but would turning a card sideways be enough? I'm not sure if each trooper has their own card though. I've played mtg and blood bowl, both games you turn cards/models sideways after they've activated to keep track of it all.

Playing: Droids (Legion), Starks (ASOIAF), BB2
Working on: Starks (ASOIAF), Twilight Kin (KoW). Droids (Legion)

You get one card per model type, not per model. I'm using small poker chips (7/8").

Green for activated, red for wound, yellow for objective stuff, blue for status effect.

Haven't really seen the need for activation markers myself. I typically bring just enough stuff so each Leader can activate himself plus all Infantry of his type in one go.

Oh, for further rules questions, I recommend the CMON FAQ thread, where official answers are provided in a timely manner.

simply because its going to drive me crazy until I can check my rulebook later at home...
do you still lose 1 moral at the end of every turn or was that removed?

I saw an update on the WoK website saying it was removed but most of their info is so old its hard to say what is true in the final product.
the free rules from their site say that it's still in the game but again, I think a lot has changed and I don't think they've updated the free rulebook.

almost forgot... thank you lord_blackfang. I checked the faq and even found the same question but unfortunately no answer.
