Hey everyone I k ow many of you may not from this area so just disregard. I just moved out to Chula Vista area in California about 2 weeks ago. I was hoping to have a gaming club near my new place but sadly the only ones I've found are at least 25 min away are there any players or groups that meet up to play against? I'm a dark Angels player who started back on 6th edition when it first came out. So in short does anyone know of a club or players nearby who would like to meet up to play games on a regular basis?

On moon miranda.

Try At Ease Games on Miramar Blvd on Wed nights, or Game Empire on Clairemont Mesa Blvd.

I don't live in San Diego anymore, but both those places had active playgroups

The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Hey, I moving out to San Diego next week. I found a couple stores in the area from Pair a Dice, At Ease Games and a Games Workshop. I look forward to checking them out.

Not Mine, but still great:
"Fear the Dark Angels. They have not the zeal of Black Templars nor the savagery of Space Wolves but something more fearful. They do not give up-- no matter what. If you anger them, prepare to be hunted across the galaxy for they will never stop the chase. I have called for their aid. I will die knowing that you shall suffer a worse fate than I."

If he's in Chula Vista, those are potentially the places he's talking about that are 25 mins away (longer for At Ease since it's off the freeway by a few miles, whereas GE is right off the exit).

I don't get down as far as Chula Vista very often so I don't know the area. The closest would have been Game Towne, but it sadly closed in December.

Did they close? That's unfortunate, that's where I was first introduced to Warhammer in like 1993 or something like that as a super-wee lad (when they still had lots of chit-base hex wargames on the shelves as well).

That said, the place was in a super expensive area with like 1 or 2 tables, and the last time i was in there it looked depleted and empty :(

Yeah, but they got a lot of foot traffic. My first games were with some friends of friends, but my original game store was the old Dwarf Mountain in Clairemont.
