This story is based on a small, useless planet, bare of intelligent life. The remanents of two powerful factions - orks and space marines - are battling upon it.

The Emperor's Knights were a powerful custom Space Marine Chapter, but were almost obliterated by the Horus Heresy and have never recovered. They are a tiny Chapter now, so have some odd customs (e.g. their leader fighting in the front lines). They believe that their Knight's Tarot cards, a personal gift from the Emperor, can read his true will, not the Emperor's Tarot. As a result, they largely ignore the Inquistors. They are seen as annoying, embarrassing or heretical by most other Chapters.

The Fanged Waaagh! is the remains of a very powerful Waaagh! lead by Warboss Battlefang. A very modern, "cleva git" kind of ork, he uses advanced thinking such as "taktiks", and "stratigy". However, his entire space fleet and the vast majority of his orks were wiped out in a disasterous space battle against the Imperium while they were still fixing from a battle against Eldar. They are now stranded on this lonely planet, and the Emperor's Knights are trying (and largely failing) to finally wipe them out.

I am currently writing the story, and it will commence shortly. Incidently, I may be a little out on some points of 40k lore, so I apologise for that.

"If an ork is running away from something, run like hell after him." - very useful Imperium saying
