hey everyone. Trying to come up with a couple 50 point lists for menoth.

Would like your thoughts on what i have so far.

First is amon. He has 5 dervishes, fire of salvation, 2 max choirs, 2 max exemplar bastions, and high exemplar gravus.

Next is harbinger tier 4.
Avatar, guardian, templar, 2 min choirs, max temple flameguard with ua, 5 paladins of the wall, high paladin dartan, 3 vassal mechaniks, and a hierophant.

First list i would run the dervishes to engage then synergy chain the next turn.

Second list i use walls to make the enemy have to run around them to get to oblectives near my zone, or to give myself cover in zones. The paladins would wall off one zone with thier upper twenties armor. The three jacks hunt things with p+s 15+ while the flameguard secure the other zone.

My advice would be to play the lists at least three times each to see how they preform then make adjustments from there.

So what exactly is Gravus accomplishing in your Amon list?

He doesn't have many models to keep steady or collect souls from. He's not worth it with just his offensive output.

You'd be better off swapping him to upgrade your Dervishes into Devouts. Defensive strike can build synergy on your opponents turn.

Harbinger also doesn't like Guardians. She has one spell to arc and its not worth the price tag of the guardian. Her tier is about spamming cheap 5 point crusaders.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Gravus is in the first list to keep the bastions on their feet, not really for an offensive out put. The Battlegroup is supposed to take care of the offense.

In the second list, the idea was to control the zones, so having the guardian for the crit pitch was the reasoning there. Why is the harbingers teir all about spamming cheap five point crusaders? It seems to me like her teir is all about getting as many paladins that have upper twenties armor as you can, and walling off an objective.

That's not enough to justify his cost. You need a lot of exemplar to justify him, and bastions aren't prone to getting knocked down.

Save 3 points and get the Convenant and he'll keep everyone on their feet not just the bastions.

Her tier is about crusaders because 5 point heavies are insane. I usually run 5 plus the Avatar. Then I have Vilmon and two paladins for zone contesting. Crit pitch is nice, but its not reliable enough to build a strategy around. Its easier to just kill what you are smacking, and 5 pt crusaders do it better.
