Warhammer 40k @ Fans of Gaming Convention on May 30th, Pekin IL.

So AdeptiCon 2015 is in the books. Taking a break and thought I would at least get this post AdeptiCon event I am involved with out there. Some individuals in my area have been running some well attended Game Days the last few years. They have branched out and are running a convention called Fans of Gaming. This will be the 2nd year of this local convention. I have agreed to run a 40K event at the show again this year.

Fans of Gaming Convention aka “ FoGCon “ will be held May 29th th through May 31st. The 40K event will be held on Saturday, May 30th . Currently have space for 24 players. Day pass for the convention is 10.00 dollars and weekend pass is 20.00. 20% of the convention gate will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Entry into the tournament will require a 10.00 purchase be made from the vendor hall.

We gave away a lot of great swag at this event last year, and I expect to do the same this year.

Rules Summary:
• Armies will consist of 1850 points
• 3 games with 2:45 minute round times
• Playing surface will be 4x6
• 0 - 1 Forge world allowed
• Painting required

Going to be a number of great games being ran at the show. So you don’t have to make this strictly 40K.
